Bond Ranch Retreat is a place that was born in the early days of the Pacific Northwest. The property was forest originally and the owner logged the land while he was in high school with a team of horses. Since that time, horses have been a constant resident.
The accommodations capture the flavor of the rural countryside while offering the comforts of our modern society. Take a walk and enjoy the fresh country air, listen to the birds and the chirping of the frogs in the evening, kick back with a barbeque in the chairs around the fire pit, and just relax!
Our Ranch Retreat is the perfect getaway from the stresses of life in the city, the job, the rush hour - and allows a time of peaceful relaxation as only the small town atmosphere can offer.
Come and join us - you'll leave refreshed and looking forward to coming back again!
Your hosts Tess and Morris look forward to meeting you!
Your host Morris was born and raised in the Port Angeles, Sequim area and spent most of his childhood hunting and fishing in the Olympic Mountains. His roots were in the forests for he logged with his father as a child. He was a tree faller all of his adult life, but has been a horse trainer for as long as he can remember. His idea of a perfect day is on horseback at sunrise and horseback at sunset with a picnic in between.
Your hostess Tess is a retired kindergarten teacher from California who spent all of her childhood summers at her parent's seasonal home on beautiful Lake Crescent. Until she was teaching, she was involved in many capacities in the tourist business in Canada, while working at private fishing resorts or on cruise ships in Alaska. Tess says, "Most of what I learned about how to treat people, I learned in kindergarten. It has always worked for me. Why give it up?"
Both Morris and Tess look forward to having you as guests on the ranch. You will come as strangers and leave as friends!
We are committed to providing our guests with friendly personalized attention in a relaxed, safe and welcoming country setting.
