Want to touch once again your ranch roots or get back to the ranch that you always wanted but never had? Come be our guest at the Bond Ranch Retreat. Our ranch was established over 40 years ago, partially logged by horse team and owned and operated by the same owner.
We are situated at the foothills of the Greywolf and Olympic Mountain ranges. The Dungeness Valley, The Elwha River, and the Olympic Peninsula stretches below us. Here you will feel far away from everything yet be only six minutes from the sunny city of Sequim, and minutes from the famous lavender fields and farms that make this area so spectacular and unique.
Even though you will be staying on a ranch, don't be fooled. You are not going to rough it here! Our guest rooms are comfortable, clean and full of warm and welcoming hospitality. Careful attention has been given to our guest rooms. Our mattresses are either full sized Memory Foam or Pillow Top and all our sheets are made of fine linen. All our pillows are down-filled, blankets Pendleton wool and quilts cover the beds. Your bedside table has flowers, magazines and books to read. You have a carafe of water to quench your thirst during the night. And we have our own stationary to write home about the fun time you are having. Each room is provided with specialty soaps and creams.
You will enjoy European style lodging when you take your soft towel out to the Bath House to enjoy your morning or evening shower. When you open the door, the sound of a fountain will surround you.
We also are proud of a common room inside the converted barn that has a refrigerator, coffee pot, dining table and comfortable couch and chairs. You could possibly be sharing this room with folks from all over the world. It's a nice place to meet other guests.
You can barbeque your own steak in our cook house or we will recommend a few well chosen restaurants close to the ranch where you might dine.
In the evening after your meal, come join us at the campfire. Slip into one of the multi-colored chairs, and cook marshmallows while you listen to stories from other guests or spin a few yarns of your own. You might even want to tell ghost stories but it is also okay to sit quietly, wind down and listen to the popping of the campfire. You can even see the stars on a clear night!
